Thank you for considering Pynewood Press as the home for your work. We’re dedicated to discovering and promoting exceptional voices in literary fiction, non-fiction, children's literature, etc. and are excited to review your manuscript.
What We’re Looking For
Our mission is to publish stories and ideas that push boundaries, are unapologetically creative, and have strong voices. Whether you’re a first-time author or a seasoned writer, we welcome submissions that fit within the following categories:
Literary fiction (speculative fiction)
Fiction (crime, romance, adventure, etc)
Poetry
Children’s fiction
Non-fiction
*We currently DO NOT accept submissions for screenplays, copywriting and academic papers. We do offer copyediting and proofing services.
Submission rules
Manuscript Formatting:
Submit your manuscript in a Word document or PDF.
Use standard formatting: 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, with numbered pages.
Include a title page with your name, contact information, and manuscript word count.
To ensure a smooth review process, please follow these guidelines:
Cover Letter:
Introduce yourself and your work in 1-2 paragraphs.
Mention your target audience and why you believe your manuscript is a good fit for Pynewood Press.
Provide a brief summary of your manuscript (1-2 pages).
Submission Method:
Submit through the form below.
Alternatively, email your materials to pynewood.press@gmail.com with the subject line: ‘Manuscript Submission – [Your Name/Book Title].’
Response Time
We aim to respond within 1-2 weeks. If you haven’t heard from us after this period, feel free to follow up at contact us.
By submitting your manuscript, you confirm that:
This is your original work, and you hold all rights to the content.
The manuscript has not been previously published (except in cases of self-publishing, which must be disclosed in your cover letter).
